What do frogs, the Hudson Valley, and the jungles of Colombia have in common?  Folklore Urbano NYC presents “Brave New Frogs-Los Sapos Valientes,” a multidisciplinary production for kids and adults by the directors of Cumbia for kids/Cumbia for All.   Set in a laboratory in the jungles of Colombia’s Pacific coast, Brave New Frogs brings to light real issues impacting our own Hudson Valley, as well as communities around the globe.  Diversity, science, love, resilience, and hope emerge in this charming spectacle of  dance, music, and theater for audiences of all ages.–
The creation and performance made possible with funds from a “Voices for Change” grant of ArtsWestchester, awarded to Pablo Mayor in 2021.  Special thanks to Teatown for their insight into the environmental struggles of amphibians in the Hudson Valley, and for all they do to help the environment and educate the community!
